Chicken Ball Batter


  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 TBSP oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt


Sift together in large bowl flour, salt and baking powder
Combine egg, milk and oil in a small bowl then add to dry ingredients
Mix well until no longer lumpy
Dip chicken chunks (or whatever you are frying) in batter until well coated then fry in hot oil until golden brown


This recipe is great for making fried chicken balls but can also be used as a fry batter for just about anything you want to fry.
